Happy Father's Day

Hello everyone!!I'm here to share a Father's dady card using one of the free downloads Joanna of Inspired By Stamping has offered on the newsletter.

I took a printout of the card front in a light grey color. I use PowerPoint to do that. Here's how I do it:

  1. Click on the picture. Go to Format tab.
  2. Go to the Color drop down.
  3. Choose 'washout'
  4. Take a printout of the image

The printout will be in a light grey color which will be perfect for no-line coloring. In this case, I wanted to color the light house in red. I used copics R59, R29, R35 and R32 to color the red part of the light house and C3 and N0 to color the white part. I used E31 and E53 to color the mud and YG03 for the grass. I used BG000 for the sky and BG13 and BG11 for the sea. I chose these combinations from what I have in my stash. I used my Copic black multi-liner to darken the sentiment and areas of the image that needed to be black. I trimmed the panel to be of size 4" x 5 1/4". I wrapped the brown twine around the panel and added the button with a twine bow. I adhered the panel onto brown card base.

Hope you like this card. If you have not subscribed to the Inspired By Stamping newsletter, I think you should do. That newsletter is full of inspiration!!

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day.

Fantastic card for Father's Day! Love the lighthouse and your beautiful painting of it with the no lines technique. Perfect way to finish your card off with the button and twine too. Debra x

Wonderful card! Thanks for joining us here at Word Art Wednesday. We hope you will join us again soon. Leaving you with this encouragement found in Psalms 31:24 (KJV) " Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."
